4th Annual Food Drive
Last year because of YOU, we donated almost 3,000 pounds of food. I’m must be nuts because this year I’m increasing our goal to 10,000 pounds or a 33% increase over last years donation. Well as the expression goes “go big or stay home”! Well my logic is simple. Increase prizes. Extend the invitation to both property maintenance clients, (commercial and residential) as well as our construction clients. Open the raffle up to your friends, family and colleagues. Have the Food Pantry use their buying power to purchase food from their source. Essentially when the spend $10 they get something like $20 worth of food!

The Aurora Food Pantry is a registered charity accepting both food and monetary donations. Each year we rely on the generosity of community organizations, businesses and residents to provide food to 150 families each month who live in Aurora and north Oak Ridges. We support more than 500 individuals on a monthly basis including children and youth who make up 40% of that number. Families are given a 5-7 day supply of food including non-perishable items such as canned meats, vegetables and fruits along with soups, pasta, rice, cereal and other essential items.

Green Side Up Property Maintenance will be donating 12 months of property maintenance up to a maximum of $5,000.
Green Side Up Contracting has teamed up with two of our local and core landscape suppliers, Stonemen’s Valley and Permacon and are donating a 100 square feet interlocked “walkway” package using Permacon’s Trafalgar pavers. This is valued at $3,000!
